Escape Vacation

             Two Weeks A Year

You and I if we are the lucky ones get two weeks off each year to escape, I mean to vacation from our normal everyday life. Some of use decide to vacation at home. Kick back and try to catch up on all the things that have been sitting there and waiting to be done while we were too busy with the job.

    Don’t do this.

Do not waste this chance to recharge by staying home. You are home everyday. I ask you what kind of vacation is that. Why would you want to be home. Your family know that you are there. Your problems know that you are there. Friends and enemies who want to borrow money know that you are there.

For two weeks you get to become a fugitive. Did the hero in Shawshank Redemption did that hole in the wall and crawl through 500 yards of you know what so that he could hang out in another part of the prison for a while?

   No.

He put on some clean shoes, emptied the bank accounts and headed for the border.

I know, I know, he did not have to come back.

    Well you cannot have everything.

Vacations are largely pretending up until the last twelve hours that it will never end. With this blog I am hoping to encourage both you and me to jump the fence and disappear for a while.

Yeah, I know. They are going to catch up to us sooner or later, but hey there is fun and adventure to be had while they are chasing us.

Okay what do we do first?

How about hit some travel sites. Get some free information and watch some videos about places that you want to go to. When you visit this blog I will try to post offers that may be able to help. They will mostly be ones that interest me and if any of you guys use any of them it will help me to pay for my little escape plan. When you run web sites for a living you really only get to skip off to Tokyo when you have super amazing escape money set aside.

Okay that is it for now. Please take a moment to add me to your google plus and to stumble this blog on stumbleupon.
